our chosen charity 2026
For 2026, we are proud to support The Christie as our chosen charity. As one of the UK's leading cancer centres, The Christie provides specialist treatment, care and support for patients and their families.
This is a cause that is particularly close to our hearts. Cancer has affected many people within our wider team, as well as their families and friends, making our support for The Christie especially meaningful.
As part of our fundraising efforts, members of the UDC team recently completed the challenge of climbing Snowdon, raising over £6,000 for a project within the chemotherapy suite at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Macclesfield. The funds will help create a dedicated craft and activity station, providing patients with books, puzzles, colouring materials and other activities designed to offer comfort, distraction and support during treatment.
Throughout the year, we will continue to support The Christie through fundraising and awareness initiatives, helping to make a positive difference for patients and their families.

We are working towards Net Zero emissions by 2050 and continually seek opportunities to reduce our environmental impact through responsible business practices and sustainable ways of working.
